The Dolphin Tour in Zanzibar is a half-day excursion to Kizimkazi fishing village on the island’s south coast. The highlight of this tour is the chance to swim close to dolphins, and for those lucky enough, even interact with them for a couple of hours. The village is home to schools of fish and both bottlenose and humpback dolphins, often found just a few meters from the shore. Kizimkazi is also known for its historic 12th-century mosque.

The old mosque of Kizimkazi village has a great history of Islam and the Persian world to the East African region, therefore, the Kizimkazi old mosque has become a famous tourist attraction for locals and internationals.
We will pick you up at your hotel and take you for a drive to a village at the southern coast of Zanzibar known as Kizimkazi, you will get to see the Village while moving on your way to the local habour where you will get onboard on a fiber boat. We then give you instructions and finally take you for a cruise to go and hunt for dolphins. Note ther is 50/50 chance to see the dolphins depending on the season and the weather condition that we may experience at the time of your trip to Kizimkazi.
