They were an endangered species, but numbers have increased in recent years thanks to conservation work by the nature reserve working closely with the local people. It is estimated that there are now between 2,000-2,500 monkeys. The monkeys are wild, but it is possible to get close to them and they carry on their normal activities as though human visitors do not exist.
We will pick you up at your hotel and take you for a drive to Jozani Forest National Park which is located at the South Region of Zanzibar Unguja island. When we reach the Jozani Forest, we will check in through the Entrance gate and start our tour with a proffessional guide who will speak your language, you will walk through the forest and see the beautiful unique monkey species known as the red colobus monkey and then you will continue to walk throgh the Mangrove swamp areas as you take pictures of different species that you see, after 3 to 4 hours you will check out through the entrance gate and we taaake you back to your hotel.
